The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan organization, encourages active and informed participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

The LWV of Lake Minnetonka Plymouth Area serves the following communities: Corcoran, Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Long Lake, Medicine Lake, Medina, Minnetonka Beach, Minnetrista, Mound, Orono, Plymouth, Shorewood, Spring Park, Saint Bonifacius, Tonka Bay, Wayzata, Woodland

Membership is open to all genders ages 16 and up. Local leagues are where civic action and democracy thrive.
